Our Three-Step Identification Process for Cremation
At our funeral home, we know how important peace of mind is during this difficult time. That’s why we follow a careful, respectful three-step process to ensure your loved one is properly identified and cared for throughout the cremation process. Your Loved ones idented is know as soon as we take your loved one into our care. We place a ID bracelet with them once identification is sought out.
Step 1: Personal Identification
Before we move forward with cremation, we invite the legal next of kin or appointed representative to visually identify your loved one. This can be done in person or through a secure, respectful photo identification process. This step gives you the opportunity to feel confident and assured that your loved one is in our care.
Step 2: Authorization and Documentation
After identification, we’ll review and complete the necessary authorization forms together. This includes confirming personal details and signing the Cremation Authorization Form. We are here to walk you through every document and answer any questions with care and clarity.
Step 3: Secure Tracking and Permanent Identification
For added assurance, we place a ID disc with a unique number alongside your loved one. This identification stays with them through the entire cremation process. Every step is recorded and carefully logged to maintain complete transparency and trust.
