Kenneth H. Saff, Sr., 103 of Bethlehem passed away on January 3, 2026. He was the husband of Jean (Springer) Saff for 63 years until her passing on June 7, 2014.
Kenneth was born in Kane, PA on June 6, 1922, son of the late Andrew and Esther (Tengstrand) Saff.
He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II and flew A 20’s during the Philippines Liberation.
Kenneth also served in the Pennsylvania National Guard, where he learned to fly helicopters.
Kenneth graduated from Penn State in 1950 with a BS in Agriculture a and always remained an avid Penn State Fan.
He was Post Office Clerk for the United States Postal Service retiring after many years.
He is survived by his daughters Karen Yellin wife of Stanley of Bethlehem, Rebecca J. Sweeney wife of Robert of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, son Kenneth H. Saff, Jr. husband of Benita of Aston, PA, nine grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
A Time of Remembrance will be on Friday January 9, 2026 at 11AM with a visitation from 10AM to 11AM all at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Streets Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial with Military Honors will be at a later date in Riegelsville Cemetery. www.Herronfuneralhomecares.com
