Mark D. Reeser, Sr., 67, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Allentown on October 4, 1958, Mark was the son of Joseph G. Reeser and the late Sally A. (Shankweiler) Reeser. He grew up in Bethlehem and was a proud graduate of Freedom High School. Following graduation, Mark began a dedicated 31-year career with the Bethlehem Area School District in the building and grounds department, retiring in 2010.

In 1977, Mark married the love of his life, Susan (Lopez) Reeser. Together they shared 48 years of devotion, partnership, and family. Mark’s greatest joys in life came from the outdoors and the people he loved. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he treasured the time spent coaching Little League Baseball with his sons and father. Above all, he cherished every moment with his granddaughter, Aleia, who brought him immense pride and happiness.

The Reeser family would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to Tracy from St. Luke’s Hospice for her compassionate care and unwavering support during this difficult time.

Mark is survived by his wife, Susan, of Bethlehem; his son, Matthew Reeser, husband of Korinne Gillow, of Bethlehem; his beloved granddaughter, Aleia Reeser of Bethlehem; his father, Joseph G. Reeser of Lovettesville, VA and his sister, Susan Bowser of Lovettesville, VA. He is also survived by three nephews and a niece.

He was predeceased by his son, Mark D. Reeser, Jr., his mother, Sally A. Reeser and his brother-in-law, Rex Bowser.

A Time of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center at Market Streets, Bethlehem, PA 18018. www.Herronfuneralhomecares.com
