Beatrice M. (Peters) Herman

Beatrice M. (Peters) Herman, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on September 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.   She was the wife of the late John Plusar.

Born on September 5, 1948 to James and Julia Peters, Beatrice was a lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley. She graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1967.

For many years, she was a jack of all trades and was a skilled and loyal employee. Known for her attention to detail, uncanny organizational skills and her unwavering support for others, Bea approached her life with a deep pride and immense care for the people she supported. 

A lover of music and an ambitious cook and baker, she was a willing listener who always seemed to have the right words or gesture to comfort others. 

She is survived by her son, Daniel James Herman of Belle Mead New Jersey, along with his wife, Victoria Anne, and her step-grandsons, Gabriel and Alex. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas, and her parents, James and Julia Peters. 

Friends and family are invited to gather for a Time of Remembrance on Friday September 18, 2026 from 9AM to 10AM  at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem, PA  18018, followed by an interment at Woodlawn Cemetery Allentown.  There will be a luncheon at Stahley’s, 11:30am 1826 Hanover Avenue, Allentown PA 18019
