Carmen R. Romero, 82 of Allentown passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 11, 2026.
Carmen was born in San Jorge, El Salvador on August 7, 1944, daughter of the late Luca Leveo Aparicio and Emma Romero.
She worked in the housekeeping department of Sacred Heart Hospital retiring after many years.
Carmen is survived by her children Ricardo Romero (Marta), Lucas Romero and Emma Lenner (Chris), seven grandchildren Stephanie Lenner, Edgar Lenner, Matthew Lenner, Arly Romero, Ricardo Romero, Brian Romero and Frezia Romero; great-grandson Andrew Romero; sister Lydia Romero, brothers Galielo Romero, Roberto Romero, Edilberto Romero and Baudilio Romero (Mercedes).
Viewing and Funeral Service will be on Monday August 17, 2026, viewing 12:30PM to 1:30PM followed by the Funeral service at 1:30PM in the sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown, PA 18103. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Allentown. www.HerronFuneralHomeCares.com
