Daniel Smith Henderson

Daniel Smith Henderson, 62, of Easton passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, in St. Luke’s-Bethlehem Campus after a battle with cancer.

He was born in Washington, D.C., in May of 1964 to Ronald Lyman and Patricia Carlene Henderson. Dan grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, and later moved to Minnesota with his family while he was in high school.

After graduating from Forest Lake High School, Dan lived in Maryland and South Carolina for a time. He then moved back to Minnesota where he worked as a computer programmer in the Twin Cities area, following in his father’s footsteps. In 2022, Dan moved to a house on the historic Delaware River Canal in Easton, PA to be closer to family members on the East Coast.

Dan also attended culinary school, as cooking was one of his favorite pastimes. He especially enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing favorite meals with his daughter for friends and family. Dan was also passionate about computers, sports, hard rock music, his family, and lovable dogs.

Dan is survived by his daughter Annabeth Henderson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his brothers, Scott Henderson of Woodbury, Minnesota; David Henderson of Sanbornton, New Hampshire; Mark Henderson of Silver Spring, Maryland; his uncle, Joseph O’Hagan of Easton, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.
