Georgine May Strauss "Babe"(Fry), 85, of Allentown, passed away at Fellowship Manor Community of Whitehall, with her daughter by her side, on September 12, 2025, after a long battle with dementia, just shy of her 86th birthday.
Georgine was born on September 17, 1939 to George Fry and Catherine (Wills) Fry Rowe in Wilson Borough, PA. She graduated from Wilson High School in 1957. After graduating, she worked for Mack Printing, in Easton. Later, she worked for Keystone Memorial Company of Allentown, where she retired to care for her grandchildren in 1991. According to "Grams," spending time with her grandchildren was the best job she ever had.

Strauss Jr. of Allentown whom she was married to for 66 years; sister Janet Cole of Allentown; son Mark D. of Allentown; daughter Jodi J. and husband Brian Mauerman of Allentown; grandchildren Kirsten and husband Adam Kinch of Allentown, Landon T. and wife Trina Miller (Monaco) of Allentown, Skylar and wife Hannah Strauss (Black) of Allentown; great-grandchildren Peyton, Liam, Grayson, Rayden. and Raelynn. On behalf of Fellowship Community, I want to extend our deepest sympathies over the passing of Georgine. She was a gracious person and it was our privilege to have had a part in her care. I trust she experienced something of the great love of Christ while at Fellowship Community.
I pray God’s good comfort in Christ will be yours at this time and that you will find much hope and encouragement in the promise of eternal life for those whose faith and trust is in the Lord Jesus.
With sincere sympathy,
Pastor Laszlo
