Gregory Leonard Takacs
Gregory Leonard Takacs, 70 of Fountain Hill passed away on October 29, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of BettyAnn Eva (Lewis) Takacs. They were married 50 years on January 17th.
Gregory was born in Bethlehem on August 11, 1956, son of the late Anna Takacs.
He was a supply clerk for Bethlehem Area School District retiring after 29 years. After Greg retired he was a security supervisor for ArtsQuest until his passing.
He was a member of Teamsters Local Union 773, member and board member of the Beethoven Waldheim Club of Hellertown and played the drums all of his life.
Survived by his wife BettyAnn Eva Takacs, sons Justin M. Takacs, Brandon Lee Takacs, husband of Jessica, two grandsons Kaden Lopez and Brenden Takacs. Predeceased by two grandchildren Braylee M. Takacs and Nicolas C. Takacs.
Viewing on Friday November 6, 2026 from 6PM to 8PM at the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem, PA 18018. Funeral service on Saturday November 7, 2026 at 10:30AM at the Herron Funeral Home with a viewing from 9:30AM until time of service. Private burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
