John J. Kaintz

John J. Kaintz, 80, of Lower Macungie, passed away on September 30, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved.

Born on November 23, 1945, in Allentown, John was a son of the late Anna Hushkek.

John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His service to his country was an important part of his life and will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

For many years, John worked for J&L Drywall Company until his retirement. He was also a member of Grace United Church of Christ in Allentown.

Above all, John cherished his family and the time he was able to spend with those closest to him.

John is survived by his loving wife, Charlene; his daughters, Kim and Cori; his grandchildren, Katie, Max, and Wraith; and his brothers, Ed and his wife, Diana, and Gregory and his wife, Dianne.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Sell-Herron Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the funeral service immediately following at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
