Kevin J. Shimaski

Kevin J. Shimaski, 61, of Lower Saucon, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2026, surrounded by the family he loved.
Born on October 6, 1964, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, Kevin was the son of the late Stephen Shimaski Jr. and Maxine (Trbuza) Shimaski.
Kevin worked in the mailroom at Victaulic. He was a quiet, easygoing man who was happiest living life on his own terms. He never cared for attention or wanted anyone to make a fuss over him. He was simply content enjoying the things that brought him happiness.
Kevin loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed taking long walks and exploring with his metal detector, always curious about what interesting treasure he might uncover. He had a genuine appreciation for the simple pleasures of life and for the time spent enjoying them.
Animals held a special place in Kevin’s heart, and he especially enjoyed pet sitting for the pets of his family and friends. He also enjoyed sitting outside with an afternoon cigar, taking in the day and sharing time with the people he cared about.
He will be missed by the family and friends who were fortunate enough to share those simple moments with him.
Kevin is survived by his sisters, Lisa Lienhard and her husband, Norbert., and Kimberly Walz and her husband, Keith; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In keeping with Kevin’s simple and generous nature, those wishing to honor his memory may make a contribution to a charity of their choice or to a local animal shelter.
