Mary T. Lynch, 95 of Fountain Hill passed away on September 17, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of George P. Lynch for 62 years until his passing on May 20, 2015.
Mary was born in Fountain Hill on May 17, 1931 daughter of the late Harry and Margaret (Gorman) Perkins
She was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School.
Mary was a Secretary at the Bethlehem Steel Company and later was a Teacher Assistant in the Bethlehem Area School District.
Mary was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
She volunteered at Celtic Fest and for numerous church activities.
She is survived by her children Gary Lynch, Patti Swietzer wife of Jeff and Tim Lynch husband of Lisa; eight grandchildren Kelly, Megan, Corey, Elizabeth, Ryan, Colin, Kasey and Katie; Fourteen great-grandchildren Darion, Braydon, Julian, Declan, Skla Rose, Maeve, Finn, Ryan Scott, Owen, Brooks, Claire, Jamie, Llewyn and Gwen; three great-great-grandchildren George, Marcie and Jack; sister Eleanor Cressman. Predeceased by her sisters Marguerite Sandbrook and Loretta Madle, brothers Harry, Francis, James and Richard Perkins.
Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday September 22, 2026, visitation 9AM to 10:45AM followed by the Mass at 11AM all at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 East 4th Street Bethlehem, PA 18015. Private burial in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Funeral arrangements by the Herron Funeral Home in Bethlehem.
