Alan Finnegan, 86 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on June 19, 2026. He was the husband of Nancy (Kuruc) Finnegan, they would have been married 57 years on July 17th.
Alan was born in Hackensack, NJ on May 8, 1940, son of the late John Matthew and Lucille (Kraft) Finnegan.
He graduated from Westwood High School in Westwood, NJ. And went on to received his BA from Moravian College in Bethlehem.
In 1976 he founded the Lehigh Street Depot which is now the Wooden Match in Bethlehem.
He has a passion for restoring cars and antiques with his son Tim.
Survived by his wife Nancy Finnegan, son Timothy Finnegan and his wife Jillian and a grandson Liam Finnegan. Predeceased by a brother Dion Finnegan.
