Meredith H. Babin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, educator, and mentor, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania. She was born on October 28, 1947, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford Babin, Jr.

Meredith was the loving mother of Megan K. Abrantes (and her dog, Luna) of Wind Gap, PA; Michael K. Jones and his spouse, Amy Morris-Jones, of Whitehall, MI; Clifford Babin III and his spouse, Kathy Babin, of Allentown, PA; and Brian Babin and his spouse, Jackie Babin, of Bethlehem, PA.

She was a cherished grandmother to Colden Jones, Greyson Jones, Brittany Babin and her fiancé, Tim Ryan, Cassie Babin and her spouse, Tariq Zohny, and Tal Flemming. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She is also survived by her siblings: Megan Sweet, Marilyn Heller, Michael Heller and his spouse Helen, Walter Heller, and Robert Heller and his spouse Simone.

Meredith devoted her life to helping children learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. She enjoyed a distinguished 30-year career in special education, serving first as a teacher at Centennial School of Lehigh University, and later as a special education supervisor at Devereux Kanner Center in West Chester, PA. Through her work, she touched countless lives and will long be celebrated for her compassion, patience, and fierce commitment to her students.

Meredith’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the generations of young people she guided. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
