Arlyn L. Follweiler

Arlyn L. Follweiler, 92 of Allentown passed away on March 6, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Allentown.  He was the husband of Doris T. (Paine) Follweiler, they were married 60 years on November 7th.

Arlyn was born in  Orefield son of the late  Earl and Eva Mae (Rau) Follweiler.

Arlyn graduated from William Allen High School in 1950. He  was a quarterback for the football team and was a drummer in the band.  He was awarded  J. Birney Crum full academic scholarship which he declined n because he wanted to be a long-haul truck driver.

He was a long-haul tractor trailer driver for many years and retired from Interstate Courier Express.

He attended Lehigh Valley Baptist Church in Emmaus.

Survivors:  His wife Doris, daughter Brenda J. Sigler, sister Nancy Ackerman, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Verleda Breininger, Lorraine Adams, brother in laws Stanley Breininger, Charles Adams and LeRoy Ackerman, nieces Donna Adams  and  Sandy Lutz.

Memorial Service:  Wednesday March 12, 2025, call 10AM-11AM,  Memorial Service 11AM at the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh street Allentown, PA  18103.
