Kaila Newman

On the morning of March 10, 2026, Kaila Newman, 28, passed away in her home.

Born in Staten Island, New York, on June 4, 1997, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Carregal and Lawrence Newman. Kaila lived in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with her grandparents, mother, and twin brother.

Kaila was a tender soul who deeply loved her family and her pets. She was a deeply intelligent and gifted student who excelled in school and was beloved by her peers. Although the later years of her life were at times tumultuous, the love she had for her family was never in question, and her circumstances never diminished her generosity or compassion for others.

Kaila had a special love for animals, especially dogs and her cats.

She is survived by her grandfather, Henry Carregal; her father, Lawrence Newman; and her twin brother, Connor Newman.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday March 17, 2026  from 3:30PM to 4:00PM with Prayer Service to follow at 4:00PM
