Linda J. Tona

Linda J. (Sandwick) Tona, 70 of Bath passed away on October 6, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Frederick J. Tona.

Linda was born in Easton on July 13, 1955 daughter of the late Charles M. Sandwick Jr. and Barbara Wren Boyd.

Linda was a member of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church in Bethlehem Twp. She was a member of the Sertoma Clubs of, Bethlehem, Forks, Easton, Sullivan Trail and Plainfield Twp. She was a Girl Scout leader, a Boy Scout Merit Badge helper, member of the Pen Argyl PTA and was a volunteer EMS for Plainfield Twp. Linda and her late husband Frederick fostered over 100 children through the Children’s Home of Easton.

Survivors: Daughters Elizabeth A. Calwonsen, wife of Ashley, Crystal Tona and Amy Mertus, sons Daniel Flanagan, Michael Scott Tona and Timothy Tona fiancé of Brittany Edsoren; sister Susan Spencer wife of Kirk; seven grandchildren Jaxon Kline, Lilianna Mertz, Roselia Mertz, John Tona, Nathaniel Antonioli.

Viewing: Friday October 10, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM in the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center At Market Street Bethlehem, PA 18018.

Funeral Service: Monday October 13, 2025, viewing from 9AM to 10AM followed by the service at 10AM all at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church 3100 Hecktown Road Bethlehem, PA 18020. Burial to follow in Wind Gap Cemetery. www.Herronfuneralhomecares.com
