Sharon S. Fletcher

Sharon S. Fletcher, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill. She was the beloved wife of Robert W. Zelnick.

Born in East Falls, Pennsylvania, on October 20, 1956, Sharon was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Juliano) Zasowski.

Sharon graduated from Harriton High School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, and went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd Valley. She worked at both St. Luke’s and Lehigh Valley Hospital before joining Aetna in Medicare sales. She retired from Aetna to form her own company Fletcher Senior Services with her husband. 

Above all else, Sharon cherished her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially during family trips to the beach, where countless treasured memories were made. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy.

Sharon had a vibrant spirit and an infectious enthusiasm for life. Social, outgoing, fearless, and carefree, Sharon never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome.

Whether she was planning an adventure, sharing a laugh, helping a friend in need, or simply enjoying time with family, Sharon embraced every moment with energy and optimism. Her resilience, generosity, and unwavering support for those she loved will be remembered by all who knew her.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Robert W. Zelnick; her son, John A. Fletcher; her daughter, Jenna A. Fletcher and her husband Nathan Horst, and their children, Lucy, Max, and August; her daughter, Kaitlyn E. Kelly and her husband Garrett, and their children, Everett and Hudson; her stepson, Robert Zelnick, and her sister, Patricia Bierbower and her husband Douglas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda.

A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with a calling hour from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center Street at Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.

 Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Though Sharon’s presence will be deeply missed, her laughter, kindness, exuberant  spirit, and love for her family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
