Eleanore M. Dacquisto, 100 of Allentown passed away peacefully at home with her loving family on December 1, 2025. She was the wife of the late Salvatore J. Dacquisto who passed on May 18, 1983.
Eleanore was born in Minersville, PA on March 4, 1925, daughter of the late Louis and Bertha (Ryncavage) Reitmeyer.
She was a seamstress at her daughter's business-Brielle Tailoring in Bethlehem for many years.
She lived with her daughter Sandy and husband Rich for the past 12 years. Sandy had the honor of providing additional care over the past year and was often referred to as her "Angel"
They had an inseparable bond and enjoyed their private time of eating tomato sandwiches and watching General Hospital.
She enjoyed traveling, casinos, beaches and animals. She loved time with her dog Callie who she referred to as Pushy Mushy. She enjoyed their mornings together sharing a piece of cheese.
She loved God and her family and made it her mission to talk to Jesus daily.
Survivors: Daughter- Sandra M. Schaller and her husband Richard of Allentown, Son James C. Daquisto and his wife Sharon of Allentown and daughter Jean Monaghan of Martins Creek; four grandchildren Michelle Ehret and her boyfriend Thomas Erschen, Brian Ehret, Tony Ardo and Gina Marie Ardo. She also had one great-grandson, Christopher Ehret and his girlfriend Lauren Pereira of Palmerton. Great, great grandson Julian Ehret who she was so excited to meet and love for his short time with her and another grandchild Kendall Mae. She was predeceased by her two grandsons Brian Ehret and Tony Ardo and a sister Louise Martinelli and a brother Louis Reitmeyer.
Viewing and Service: Saturday December 13, 2025 viewing 12:30PM to 1:30PM followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30PM all at the Sell-Herron Funeral Home 1145 Lehigh Street Allentown, PA 18103. Private family burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery in Shenandoah, PA.
