Lynne Marie Butler, 71, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully at Lehigh Valley Hospice – 17th Street, Allentown, on March 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynne was born in Paterson, New Jersey, on August 27, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Norman and Gladys (Mazejy) Haboob.

She was the beloved wife of Ronald Butler and is survived by her daughters, Lindsay Bunn of East Allen Township and Lauren Weltmer of Downingtown, PA; her brother, John Haboob and his wife, Kathy, of Wyckoff, NJ; her sister, Lisa Ege and her husband, Chris, of West Milford, NJ; and her five cherished grandchildren, twins Caitlin and Benjamin, Chloe, Oliver, and Griffin, as well as many sister and brother in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lynne loved spending time with her family, reading her bible, praying for others, laughing and always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a kind and nurturing person and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a member of the Assyrian Orthodox Church of the Virgin Mary and was the proud owner of a childcare center where she dedicated decades of loving years to many children and their families.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who provided exceptional care to our mom. The nurses and staff at Whitehall and Parkland Manor, the doctors, nurses and staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest and Lehigh Valley Hospice. You are all angels on Earth.
