Tommy R. Lehr, 83 of Allentown passed away at home on November 19, 2025. He was the husband of Diane L. (Fitch) Lehr, they would have been married 50 years on January 31st.
Tommy was born in Allentown on August 30, 1942 son of the late Ralph F.C. and Annette (Richards) Lehr.
He was a supervisor for the Streets Department for the City of Allentown retiring after many years.
He served in the US Navy. Tommy was a member of the American Legion Post 576 Sumner Avenue and a Life Member of the Fullerton Fire Company.
Tommy was an avid golfer at Shepherds Hill Country Club, an avid walker who enjoyed fresh air, enjoyed yard work and vacations in Myrtle Beach with his family. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren. Tommy is greeted in Heaven by his beloved parents and his dog Sasha.
Survivors: Wife Diane, son Jeremy husband of Lori of Whitehall, daughter Jennifer Porch of Millville, NJ, sisters Janice Smith wife of James of Whitehall and Melissa Titmas wife of Kevin of Slatington; grandchildren Courtney Wynder (Erik), Kylie Porch, and Tyler Lehr.

We will miss his visits stopping by when he was out for a walk. A wonderful neighbor and special friend. Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.

What can I say , Tommy was great guy, great supervisor, teacher, when I started working for city in 1990 in streets , I was laboring for him , I learned a lot with street reconstruction. I wish we had more like Tommy !! Rest well my friend !
i worked with tommy many years at the city garage , he interveiwed me in april 1979 for a mechanic job , it was because of tommy's recommendation that i got the job , he was a good and fair supervisor , and a good mechanic himself , because of him i went on to a 34 year tenure with the city of allentown , rest in peace tommy , and condolenses to his family .
