Barbara A. Meckler, 79 of Bethlehem passed away surrounded by her family on December 30, 2025 at Holy Family Senior Living in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Meckler who passed in 1973.
Barbara was born in Bethlehem on February 15, 1946 daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Cope) Saeger.
Barbara graduated from Northampton High School in 1964. She later attended Lincoln Technical Institute to become a Pharmacy Technician.
Barbara dedicated her career to helping others through her work in the pharmacy field. She was known for her kindness and professionalism while serving as a Pharmacy Technician for Shop Rite and Omnicare. Earlier in her career, she worked at Piercing Pagoda in Bethlehem, where she built lasting relationships with her colleagues.
She loved Elvis Presley music and over the years had collected a variety of memorabilia. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing stories, and creating cherished memories during holidays and special occasions. Her warm smile touched the lives of all who knew her, leaving a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by her family and friends.
Survivors: Daughters Audra M. Meckler and Laura A. MacDonald, sister Carol Jacoby wife of Donald, three grandchildren Rachel Padla wife of Shawn, Aidan MacDonald and Logan MacDonald, two great grandchildren Lacey Padla and Lucas Padla. Predeceased by a son in law Ian MacDonald, sister Eleanor Sellers and brothers Thomas Saeger and Stanley Saeger.

We will miss you Barb! You were a lovely lady inside and out and even though we did not get together as often as we would like, you were still thought of when we reminisced about the good times we had at the picnics at Carol and Don’s house. Prayers go out to you and your loved ones! 🙏
