Leticia Maria Ruiz, 98 of Bethlehem passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on December 16, 2025.
Leticia was born in Chinandega, Nicarargua on January 5, 1927, daughter of the late Juan Ramon Ruiz and Rosalia (Blanco) Najar.
She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
The Migdalia Figueroa family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Lehigh Valley Hospice for their care, compassion and support shown to their Mother Leticia in her final days. The care that was given was beyond their expectations and they wanted to be sure that their efforts would not be unnoticed. The family appreciated all of the helping hands during this difficult time. The family would especially like to thank and recognize Nelly Mootz, Carol Biggs, Ashley Marks, Kari Walters, Sara Pedley, Sara Case, Jill People, Eliezer Candelario, Mary Kristian Muretta, Amanda Weiss and Social Worker Ivette.
Survivors: Her twelve children Aminta Figueora, Pedro Figueroa, Pluvia Almanza, Lesbia C. Moraga, Cesar F. Figueroa, Candida R. Trejos, Diogenes Figueroa, Mayra Jimenez, Martha Figueroa, Remigia Figueroa, Herberth Figueroa, Migdalia Figueroa, their spouses, many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Viewing: Friday December 19, 2025 from 6PM to 8PM in the Herron Funeral Home 458 Center Street Bethlehem, PA 18018.
Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday December 20, 2025 at 12noon at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th Street Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial to follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA.
