Margaret S.  “Margie” Zumas, 78 of Bethlehem passed away surrounded by her family at Holy Family Manor on January 26, 2026.  She was the wife of Constantine (Gus) Zumas, they were married 56 years on November 8th.

 

Margaret was born in Bethlehem on January 7, 1948, daughter of the late Stephanos and Kathleen (Applegate) Skoutelas.

 

Margaret graduated from Fountain Hill High School in 1966 and later from Bethlehem Business School.

 

She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem.

 

Margie was a loving person who appreciated the simple things in life. She loved to bake, collect antiques, read the classics, and watch British television shows.

 

Most of all, Margie cherished time with her family, especially their weekly Sunday gatherings.

 

Survivors:  Her husband Gus, son Michael C.  Zumas husband of Judy, daughter Julie C. Zumas wife of Scott D. Fenstermacher, granddaughters Markella K. Zumas, Nora K. Fenstermacher and Lillian M. Fenstermacher; sister Maria Sossiadis wife of Emmanuel, cousin Maria Rigas and her husband Stratos and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Nick Skoutelas, Gus Skoutelas and George Skoutelas.

 

Viewing and Service:  Wednesday, February 4, 2026, viewing 10AM to 11AM followed by the Funeral service at 11AM all at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral 1607 West Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA  18018.
